Accomplished. Motivated. Determined.

These are the people seeking meaningful work who we meet every day at ERI. They also have a disability. How can each of us contribute to a world where every person has the ability to live a full, active life at work, home, and in their communities?

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. This is an opportunity to share information about disability employment issues, celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities, and consider how we contribute to creating inclusive work cultures and communities.

ERI is proud to participate in this campaign. Throughout the month, we will be engaging in a variety of activities to highlight how inclusion benefits all of us – employers, employees, and the community.

Held annually, National Disability Employment Awareness Month is led by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, but its true spirit lies in the many observances held at the grassroots level across the nation every year. Employers of all sizes and in all industries are encouraged to participate in NDEAM.
