WDBN Trainings

The WDBN Initial Training for Work Incentives Benefits Specialists (WIBS) is now open for registration. The cost of the training is $1500 per person and includes the initial online and classroom training, as well as Technical Assistance for 2012. The training begins February 6th, 2012 and ends March 29th, 2012. The course includes six weeks of online modules, discussions and activities, and 4 ½ days of face-to-face classroom training. Customized Training
ERI can also customize Benefits Training to meet the service needs of a contracting agency. Since 1997 ERI has trained 75 Employment Specialists and over 125 Benefits Specialists.

The WDBN is excited to offer a training event for individuals with disabilities and their families coming soon to 5 different locations throughout Wisconsin starting on August 5th! These events will take place in La Crosse, Ashland, Eau Claire, Milwaukee and Amherst. Three different sessions will be offered at each location:
- SSDI & Working
- MAPP
- SSI & Working
Let your consumers know about this exciting opportunity to learn more about benefits and working! Individuals and their families can attend all sessions, or just the session(s) that would be most helpful to them.
The sessions, including lunch or dinner, are free, but seating is limited. Registration is required.
