Following are some of the current programs and projects of Employment Resources Inc.

Dane County Community Benefits Specialist Project

Dane County Mental Health Services has contracted with ERI top provide outreach and assistance to persons who need assistance in applying for public benefit (e.g. Social Security, Medicaid, FoodShare, housing assistance). The CBS Program offers a flexible, highly individualized service, designed to meet the special needs of persons with mental illnesses who need to negotiate the human service system. A Community Benefits Specialist will actively engage the individuals needing assistance, gather and organize the needed application information, and provide any necessary follow-up support and advocacy. ERI PLUS - Put Your Ticket to Work for You!

ERI PLUS is an Employment Network under the Ticket to Work Program that supports workers with disabilities to maintain long term employment. ERI has been awarded a contract as an Employment Network for the Ticket to Work program through the Social Security Administration (SSA). As a Ticket to Work Program Employment Network, ERI can provide ticket holders with an array of employment services including employment counseling, benefits counseling, and other employment support services. Wisconsin Disability Benefits Network (WDBN)

The WDBN is a statewide system of individuals and agencies that supports benefits counseling practitioners and seeks ways to reach out to and better serve people with disabilities, their supporters, and professional service providers. The WDBN provides professional training and continuing education, disseminates relevant information, creates and supports regional networks within the state, reaches out to service agencies and organizations that work with people with disabilities, and is leading the development of professional standards for benefits counseling.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is providing funding to launch WDBN and has contracted with ERI to develop and administer the network. More about the WDBN...

Paths to Employment Resource Center (PERC)

ERI is partnering with the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (SVRI) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education to create the Paths to Employment Resource Center (PERC). PERC provides training and technical assistance to promote employment and full community participation for people with disabilities through cutting-edge technologies, evidence based practice and research.  PERC focuses on the connections between work, financial stability and a person’s overall health. 

In collaboration with an inclusive and representative array of national, state, and local stakeholders, PERC actively works to promote a system that encourages and enhances employment and earning opportunities for people with disabilities. Find out more about PERC...
