Since 1998 ERI has been training staff from many agencies located throughout Wisconsin, as well as from ones in Illinois, Michigan, and Alaska, to become expert Benefits Specialists and Employment Consultants.
WDBN Trainings
In 2009, the WDBN Quarterly meeting format was changed to be quarterly trainings. On a quarterly basis, the WDBN will host a training that offers network members the opportunity to receive essential continuing education. All network members are encouranged to attend.

- September 17 - 10:00 a.m. to Noon: Webcast on SSI Deeming (includes 1619(b) issues), presented by Bob Monahan and/or Madison SSA Office Rep.
- August 25 - 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.: Long-Term Care Summer Camp. WDBN Benefit Specialist Initial Training
The next WDBN Benefit Specialist Initial Training is scheduled for July of 2009. The training will be at Employment Resources, Inc. in Madison. Following is a tentative schedule for all of the 2009 Initial Trainings. Training will include both online and classroom sessions.
